fabs815 - In the original pictures that Abaddon had of Faraday, Naomi, Charlotte and Miles, Miles has his back to the camera looking slightly over his shoulder. The other people were straight portraits, but Miles photo was taken candid-style. Not the first time they have used a suggestive/odd picture.
I watched Mysterious Island (2005)last night on the Hallmark channel; it starred Patrick Stewart (yea!) as Nemo. It was laughable how much the two stories fit together. Nemo invented the atomic bomb on the island. He found a rare crystal found only on the island that gives off radioactive power. The island had numerous monsters; the actors hid in the Banyan trees to escape a couple of them. They went into a long dialogue about how war ruins everything and Nemo found a way to stop it by inventing "the Bomb". His idea was that something so lethal would force everyone into a stalemate.
As a sidenote, Fringe was great last night! The Observers are definitely here to help. They are watching our most decisive points in history, waiting for a "main event". I wonder what it could be? Finding that which is not to be found at the center of the island, perhaps? Last season one of the Observers helped Walter to remember his gateway disruptor device (something that was almost forgotten).
There are so many things to lose when you're 'lost'. So many overlooked things can be missed when you're 'lost'. So many irreperable events can be carried out when you're 'lost'. Just ask Ben, Sayid, Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Hurley, Charlie, Faraday; pretty much all of them!
Lost never stood for 'a place in time' or a hidden island you can't be found on. It stands for Man's inevitable doom because of his own mistakes and weaknesses.
